• Before joining the firm in 1983, worked with the international design firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, where he was a project architect on a number of major developments with responsibility for programming and design development

Accomplishments:

• Led development activities for the $675 million McCormick Place South Expansion and is currently involved in the development of the $850 million McCormick Place West Expansion
• Spearheaded major developments including, the 800,000 square-foot new Metcalfe Federal Building, the 58-acre University of Illinois at Chicago South Campus Redevelopment, and the 27-story 203 North LaSalle Building, which was the first building completed in the North Loop TIF Redevelopment District
