Mesirow Financial Moves into New Corporate Headquarters
The building was developed by Mesirow Financial Real Estate and designed by renowned architect, Dirk Lohan of Lohan Anderson. Mesirow Financial now occupies 12 floors of the 45-story tower, and co-anchors the building with national law firm Jenner & Block. Over 87 percent of the building's commercial space is leased, and other tenants include leading executive search consulting firm Spencer Stuart, as well as renewable energy leader, E.ON Climate & Renewables, among others.
The building contains many essential amenities, including a fitness center, cafe, shuttle service and concierge. Additionally, the Mesirow Financial space includes a dedicated conference center – which occupies an entire floor – with 22 rooms of various seating capacities and state-of-the-art conference capabilities. With an eye towards the future, 353 North Clark has achieved LEED Gold certification for its leading-edge environmental design.

The building occupies an entire city block, and the entrances are located on Clark Street, Dearborn Street and Carroll Street. Each entrance is connected to the lobby which is open from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The main entrance at Carroll Street, across from the Westin hotel, provides a circle drive for easy drop-off and pick-up for visitors.
The lobby has an open, friendly atmosphere, with check-in kiosks for visitors to announce their arrival and receive access to the floors. Visitors simply insert either a driver's license or a credit card into the kiosk to receive a visitor's pass. Desk attendants roam the open lobby, greeting guests and providing assistance as needed.
