Community Affairs Committee

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients has always been a critical component of our business at Mesirow Financial. It is an element that has firmly rooted itself in our company culture and is evident in the strong connections we establish in the community.

In addition to the hundreds of organizations our firm supports financially, many of our employees are actively involved as volunteers or Board Members at different charitable organizations. We work to further these ties our employees have established through various projects planned by our Community Affairs Committee (CAC).

Recent Events

Daffodil Days of Chicago
This year Mesirow Financial employees purchased daffodil bunches, potted daffodil bulbs, Boyd bears and gifts of hope to benefit the American Cancer Society. Mesirow Financial employees raised over $3,600 and were one of the top ten fundraisers.

Children's Place Association
In December 2007, Mesirow Financial adopted five families through the Children's Place Association. As a firm we donated presents, gift cards, wrapping paper and other items that ensured these families would have a happy holiday season.

Lee National Denim Day
On October 5, 2007 Mesirow Financial employees wore pink with their jeans in support of Lee National Denim Day. Nationwide we raised over $2,200 to support groundbreaking early detection and treatment research for breast cancer.
