Giving back to the community has been a core value at Mesirow Financial since our founding and remains deeply rooted in our culture today.
We leverage our resources – financial contributions, employee volunteering, mentoring and in-kind services – to support hundreds of local and national organizations that focus on education and economic development, healthcare, arts and culture, services for the disabled and more.
Many of our employees are actively involved with various charitable organizations as volunteers and board members. A dedicated community relations manager works to coordinate the firm's philanthropic efforts and serves as the firm's liaison to nonprofit organizations.
In addition, for more than 20 years, Mesirow Financial has sponsored and promoted our workplace giving program, which facilitates direct contributions to local and national nonprofit organizations through payroll deductions. Participating employees are rewarded with an extra day of paid vacation.
