Chief Economist Diane Swonk and Deputy Chief Economist Adolfo Laurenti present their economic analysis to organizations and institutions throughout the year. Our economists' first consideration is to clients and prospects of Mesirow Financial. When their schedules allow, they do speak at third-party engagements, with the following understandings:
  • Generally, keynote speeches only
  • Payment of a speaker's fee (Diane Swonk = $20,000; Adolfo Laurenti = $10,000) payable to the specified Mesirow Financial legal entity following the event
  • Payment of all expenses related to the economist's participation in the event, including first-class airfare as applicable
