Mesirow Financial's Investment Banking professionals received the U.S. M&A Small Mid Market Deal of the Year Award at this year's Global M&A Network Americas M&A Atlas Awards.

The group was recognized for its outstanding work as the exclusive financial advisor to Wheeler Bros., Inc., a supply chain management company, in its sale to VSE Corporation, a publicly traded, diversified federal services company. The transaction was led by Jeff Golman, vice chairman and head of investment banking, and Rocky Pontikes, managing director.

This transaction was also recently highlighted in The Deal Magazine's Faces of the Middle Market Issue.
