• Project leader for hundreds of client engagements addressing valuation issues for private equity, hedge funds, Fortune 500 companies, emerging entities and middle market public companies
• More than 25 years of valuation consulting experience
• Deeply experienced in performing valuation assignments for financial reporting purposes pursuant to U.S. and International GAAP, such as those requiring application of the fair value standards pursuant to ASC 820 (fair value measurement and reporting), ASC 805 (purchase price allocations), ASC 350 (intangible asset and goodwill impairment), ASC 360 (long lived assets), ASC 718 (employee compensation) and ASC 815 (derivatives and hedging)
• Experienced in addressing valuation issues for tax reporting purposes, including business interests and intangible assets such as those arising pursuant to I.R.C. sections 409(a), 861 and 338
• Assists clients with providing valuation in support of transactions (pricing analyses and fairness opinions), litigation, restructuring and bankruptcy
• Expert in the valuation of intellectual property (technology, patents, contracts, customer relationships, etc.)
• Applies Monte Carlo, Black Scholes and Browning forecast models to the valuation of common stock and complex securities (preferred equities, deb options, warrants, etc.)
• Industry focus includes technology based companies, including those operating in the biomedical devices, nano-technology and pharmaceutical industries. Industry expertise also includes general manufacturing, internet based commerce companies, construction and consumer products
