Brandon Kerndt Joins Mesirow Financial Investment Advisory
CHICAGO, July 14, 2010 — Mesirow Financial today announced the hiring of Brandon Kerndt (37), as a senior vice president in its Investment Advisory group working out of the firm's Highland Park, Illinois office. As part of the firm's Investment Advisory business, Kerndt works closely with affluent individuals, families and small business owners and their external advisors to understand their wealth management needs, goals, and expectations in order to execute a comprehensive wealth management strategy within the context of a fiduciary relationship.
Kerndt has more than 14 years of financial services industry experience. Prior to joining Mesirow Financial, he was a vice president in the Schwab Private Client group at Charles Schwab & Co. for nine years where he won numerous awards. Before that, he was a financial consultant at A.G. Edwards & Sons. Kerndt graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 FINRA licenses, and is an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM (AAMSR). Brandon and his wife Liz live in Deerfield, IL with their twin five-year old daughters Olivia and Morgan.
