Mesirow Financial Hires Muj Ali to Lead Hong Kong Office

CHICAGO, December 13, 2011 — Mesirow Financial Hong Kong Limited, today announced that it has hired Muj Ali as managing director of the Hong Kong office. As part of Mesirow Financial's global strategy, Muj will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with the Asia-based clients of the firm's fund of hedge funds group, Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc.

Before joining Mesirow Financial, Muj held several executive positions dealing with client relations at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he was vice president of global distribution as well as product development and marketing with Credit Suisse. Muj received his bachelor's degree in economics and engineering from Vassar College and his master's degree in business administration from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
