Christopher A. Hultquist Joins Mesirow Financial Investment Advisory

CHICAGO, February 3, 2010 — Mesirow Financial today announced the hiring of Christopher A. Hultquist (41), as a vice president in its Investment Advisory group. As part of the firm's Investment Advisory business, Hultquist will serve his clients as a fee-based advisor, focusing on their short- and long-term financial objectives.

Hultquist joins Mesirow Financial from UBS. He brings more than 10 years of experience to the firm, serving as a financial advisor to affluent individuals, families and small business owners. Previously, he was a wholesaler with The Hartford, and before that he was on the equity research sales desk at SG Cowen.

Hultquist holds Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University. Hultquist is the co-chair and co-founder of Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) Chicago, and is on the Development Committee of the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. He is also on the Illinois Wesleyan University Chicago Alumni Board, and a member of the Advancement Committee. Hultquist and his wife and three daughters reside in Chicago's Bucktown neighborhood.
