Adam Faust Joins Mesirow Financial Investment Advisory

CHICAGO, January 20, 2010 — Mesirow Financial today announced the hiring of Adam Faust (33), as a vice president in its Investment Advisory group working out of the firm's Highland Park, Illinois office. As part of the firm's Investment Advisory business, Faust will serve his clients as a fee-based advisor, focusing on their short- and long-term financial objectives.

Faust joins Mesirow Financial from Charles Schwab and brings more than 10 years of experience to the firm, serving as a financial advisor to affluent individuals, families and small business owners. Before that, he was a consultant for corporate retirement plans at UBS, and a regional vice president at Strong Capital Management responsible for corporate retirement plans for the Southwest region.

Faust graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a bachelor of arts degree in history and a concentration in finance. He holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 FINRA licenses, and is a candidate for Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP^®) certification having completed coursework at Northwestern University. He is a member of the Chicago Curling Club, and works with several military veterans associations in the North Shore area. Faust and his wife and daughter are residents of Vernon Hills, Illinois.
