Mesirow Financial Consulting Welcomes Bob Milan as Senior Vice President, Business Development
Firm Adds Professional with Extensive Business Development and Litigation Experience

NEW YORK, January 23, 2012 — Mesirow Financial Consulting, LLC (MFC) today announced that Robert J. Milan has joined the firm as a senior vice president of business development in the firm's Litigation, Investigative and Intelligence Services practice. Based in Chicago, Milan will work closely with the firm's senior leadership and national litigation, investigative and intelligence services leaders to focus on identifying emergent market concerns and comprehensive responses that focus on delivering extraordinary client service. Milan's hiring signifies the firms continuing focus and commitment to expanding its presence in the litigation, investigative and intelligence services market.

Prior to joining MFC, Milan served as director of business development at Navigant Consulting. He also served as assistant United States attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, and served as first assistant state's attorney of Cook County. While at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, Milan developed the first training program geared towards preventing wrongful convictions. He also ran the day to day operations for the second largest prosecutor's office in the U.S. Milan earned his B.A. in political science from Loyola University and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

In his new role, Milan will help guide the firm's activities related to forensic investigations, business intelligence, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, technical GAAP accounting, anti-money laundering, consulting and expert testimony services and compliance, among others. He will also be responsible for assisting in the development of branding, positioning and marketing strategies.
