Mesirow Financial Advises Exopack LLC in its Acquisition of the Cheese and Meat Packaging Operations from Bemis Company
CHICAGO, July 20, 2010 — Mesirow Financial, Inc. acted as financial advisor to Exopack LLC ("Exopack"), an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc. ("Sun Capital"), in its acquisition of the cheese and meat barrier extrusion packaging operations from Bemis Company. The acquisition includes facilities in Wisconsin and Oklahoma, and encompasses industry-recognized brands such as Halo®, ClearShield® and Maraflex®.
