Stephen D. Jacobson Joins Mesirow Financial to Lead Credit Tenant Lease Department and Enhance its Fixed Income Investment Banking Capabilities

CHICAGO, July 8, 2010 — Mesirow Financial announced today that Stephen D. Jacobson (57) has joined the firm as a senior managing director to head its credit tenant lease department and enhance its fixed income investment banking capabilities.

Jacobson will be responsible for providing private debt capital raising services for clients that own single-tenant, investment-grade commercial real estate properties. He has more than 15 years of experience in credit tenant lease transactions, having established William Blair's product group. Prior to his 20-year tenure there, he was in public finance, focused on the New England region. Jacobson earned his bachelor of science degree from Cornell University and his juris doctor degree from Ohio State College of Law.
