Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. Appoints Mark C. Kulpins to Investment Committee
CHICAGO, June 16, 2010 — Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. today announced that it has appointed Mark C. Kulpins, managing director, to its Investment Committee.
Previously Kulpins has held senior investment roles in manager research and portfolio research at Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. Kulpins will focus on manager research and selection as a full voting member of the Investment Committee and will report to

Kulpins has over 13 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Mesirow Advanced Strategies, Inc. in 2004, Kulpins worked in the equity research department at William Blair & Company and also worked for Brinson Partners, Inc. Kulpins received a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. in finance and economics from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. In addition, he is a CFA charterholder.
