Frank Lloyd Wright Building Program
In conjunction with the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, we offer a specialized homeowner insurance program for owners of Frank Lloyd Wright homes.
Specialized Program
We share the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy's commitment to protecting and preserving the beauty and integrity of Frank Lloyd Wright structures. Together with the Conservancy and insurance carriers that understand the specific needs of a historic homeowner, we have developed a specialized program to suit these requirements. We have carefully selected the participating insurance companies based on their knowledge and experience in handling historically significant residences.
Unique Coverage
Each Wright-designed residence has unique features. The program has the flexibility to tailor coverage to most individual situations including:
Replacement cost coverage replacing the home with like design, materials and workmanship regardless of the limit of the policy. An owner may also choose a cash settlement option up to the policy limit in the event of a total loss.
Itemizing coverage of valuables and decorative objects such as art glass windows, Wright-designed furniture and certain "built-ins" such as bookcases, fireplaces and dining areas.
Built-in coverage for losses resulting from changes in building codes, laws or ordinances since the structure's original construction date.
Other important, standard coverage including all-risk perils on dwelling and contents, replacement cost with cash settlement option on contents, and backup of sewers and drains.
Coverage on automobiles, secondary residences, watercraft, aircraft and any other personal insurance needs.

Eligibility
- Members of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy. New members are welcome.
- Owners of any architecturally significant, historic residences or commercial buildings.
Process
Each property entering the program will be inspected to provide the owner with an appraisal of the replacement valuation. If authorized by the owner, this appraisal will be made available to the Conservancy for archival purposes. As part of this process a very important safety and risk management assessment will be completed to offer the owner suggestions on how to reduce the probability and severity of a loss.
