• Before joining Mesirow Financial, was an account executive in the risk management division of JMB Insurance Agency, where he provided risk management and consulting services to the real estate industry
• Prior to that, was vice president of business development for the Midwest region of ECS/XL Environmental Insurance
• His career includes positions with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Maginnis & Associates/Kirke van Orsdel and CNA Insurance Company
