Andrew Carolus is a managing director in Mesirow Financial’s Investment Banking group. He is responsible for developing key relationships, leading deal teams throughout the transaction process and providing advisory services on middle-market M&A assignments within the aerospace and defense, and diversified industrial sectors.
Andrew has more than 23 years of investment banking experience and is a well-known and highly regarded professional in the industry. Prior to joining Mesirow Financial in 2010, he was with the Chicago offices of Credit Suisse and BMO Capital Markets with a focus on the aerospace, defense and diversified industrials sectors. He began his career in the mergers and acquisitions group of UBS Investment Bank in New York.
Andrew is a member of the President’s Council for The Museum of Science and Industry and a member of the Board of Directors for Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago. He is actively involved in his alma mater, and leads recruiting activities at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Andrew earned a BS in Engineering (Aerospace) and an MBA from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with distinction. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
Andrew is a competitive cyclist and an avid fly fisherman.
