Richard Korengold is a senior managing director in Mesirow Financial’s Wealth Advisors business. He provides investment advice and financial planning strategies to individuals, business owners and charitable organizations that are designed to help accumulate, manage and preserve wealth.
Richard joined the firm in 1987 and has over 30 years of financial services experience.
Richard serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors for Lake County Partners. Prior to being named Chairman, he served as Vice Chair in 2017, has been on the Board since 2013, and on the Executive Committee since the beginning of 2015. He is a former member and chairman of the Business and Economic Development Commission for the city of Highland Park, and a former executive committee member and docent of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center, was a co-founder of the alumni association and former assistant director at Camp Kawaga for Boys in Minocqua, Wisconsin.
Richard earned a BS in business with a concentration in finance from Miami University in Ohio.
