Rick Weil has more than 23 years of investment banking experience in the packaging sector.  His clients include family businesses, private equity firms and large corporations.   He has been involved in more than 150 M&A transactions in key sectors including film and flexible packaging, corrugated packaging, paperboard packaging, rigid plastic packaging, foodservice packaging, and packaging distribution, among others.

Prior to joining Mesirow in 2000, he was a Manager in the Ernst & Young Transaction Services Group in Chicago and worked in many roles of increasing responsibility at FERS, a boutique CPA firm headquartered in Chicago.

Rick earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 79 licenses.
