Mesirow Financial's commitment to social responsibility is a critical aspect of our firm's culture.
We leverage our resources – financial contributions, employee volunteering, mentoring and in-kind services – to support local and national organizations that focus on education and economic development, healthcare, arts and culture, services for the disabled and more.
To celebrate Mesirow Financial's 80th anniversary, our employees mobilized around one of our most important values: giving back to the community. We had a week of volunteerism with various nonprofit partners in education, community development, healthcare and other spaces, and made a meaningful impact in communities across Chicagoland.
With a strategic focus on education, our firm began a partnership with the Brighton Park community in 2013 through United Way’s LIVE UNITED Neighborhood Network initiative. As a partner, Mesirow Financial is directly funding the Parent Mentors program in three middle schools where neighborhood parents are in-class teachers’ assistants, working directly with students on academics while also earning a stipend and receiving training.
Many of our employees are actively involved with various charitable organizations as volunteers and board members. It is through our employees’ steadfast dedication in the
community that Mesirow Financial is able to make an impact far and wide.
