In preparation for our volunteer day at Bernie’s Book Bank, we held our own book drive and collected more than 170 books to donate to the organization. Our volunteers then helped prepare and package donated books to be distributed to kids throughout the Chicagoland area, providing as many children as possible access to age-appropriate books.
Our employees and their families gathered at Daley Plaza on Saturday morning to join 5,000 Chicagoans for the city’s largest day of service – the Chicago Cares Serve-a-Thon! They beautified a school in the Archer Heights neighborhood, alongside volunteers from Grant Thornton and kids from Brighton Park.
30 employee volunteers visited Cradles to Crayons and organized donated clothing, shoes, books, and more, preparing them for distribution to needy kids across Chicago.
To support homeless dogs and cats, we spent the afternoon cleaning and preparing facilities for countless animals at PAWS Chicago and, of course, spent some time playing fetch.
39 of our employees proudly donated 44 pints of blood to support those in need through our annual blood drive with the American Red Cross.
