Your Opinion Matters

At Mesirow Wealth Advisors, it is critical that we actively listen to our clients and that we act on what we hear as their needs and expectations change. Our goal is to listen at every opportunity and to always provide our clients with an exceptional experience. That said, we thought it would be prudent to do a quick check-in to see how we're doing.

Our client satisfaction survey was sent to all clients at the end of 2017, and we are very thankful that so many were willing to share their experiences with us. Here are some highlights from clients who completed the survey:

When 93% of clients who responded to the survey say they are likely to refer family and friends, that is not a surprise to us.  In 2017, we grew from managing $5 billion in client assets to approximately $6 billion.

We listened and acted

What we heard:

  • Clients value our comprehensive, holistic wealth management approach. Unfortunately, one-third of our clients who responded to the survey indicated that they could use more communication of the broad scope of financial planning services that we offer.
  • Some responders are looking for improved online account access, greater ability to interact with their wealth advisor team via electronic solutions (including e-signature), and clearer performance information against their unique goals.

Action taken:

  • Our wealth advisors will continue to ask questions and engage with our clients on a deeply personal basis in order to gain a greater understanding of their family goals and aspirations.
  • We have formed a committee to explore additional custodian and clearing solutions in order to evaluate industry-leading service providers to enhance our client reporting and service experience.
  • We have restructured our internal document review procedures and added additional personnel to increase efficiency and response times to our clients on time-sensitive matters.
