Mesirow Financial Board of Directors Appoints Dominick Mondi as CEO

CHICAGO – September 6, 2018 – The Mesirow Financial Board of Directors today announced the appointment of Dominick Mondi as Chief Executive Officer of the firm effective October 1, 2018. Mr. Mondi has been with Mesirow Financial for approximately a decade, and was most recently appointed president of the firm in early 2017. During his tenure as president, he has focused on business integration, expansion through acquisitions and organic growth opportunities, capital investment policies, and business performance objectives. In addition to being named CEO, Mr. Mondi will continue as President of Mesirow’s Capital Markets businesses. He has served on the firm’s Board of Directors since 2011.

Richard S. Price, who has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO since the passing of James C. Tyree in March 2011, will remain Executive Chairman of the firm on a full-time basis for the next five years. In that capacity, he will continue to oversee the firm’s infrastructure operations, as well as maintain a critical position in the strategic planning process, which addresses the firm’s growth through the strategic acquisition of both businesses and teams.

“I could not be more pleased, proud, and excited about Mesirow Financial’s future,” remarked Richard Price. “Dominick will not only drive the firm’s future growth and success, but he will do so with a deep commitment to the values and culture that have made Mesirow Financial one of the most successful independent and employee-owned financial services firms in America.”
